Delete your LakshyaPath account

This page explains how to permanently delete your LakshyaPath account — used on lakshyapath.com and in the LakshyaPath mobile app — along with the personal data associated with it. Anyone can read this page; you do not need to sign in.

Account deletion is handled by our support team, so it is not instant. We verify every request before acting on it, so that nobody else can delete your account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to request deletion

  1. 1

    Send the request

Email pritamkunar13@gmail.com from the address your LakshyaPath account uses, asking us to delete your account. Include your name if the account has one, so we can match it.

  2. 2

We verify it is really you

Support checks that the request came from the account holder — usually within 2 working days. We may write back to confirm before doing anything. This step is what stops someone else from deleting your account.

  3. 3

The account and its data are deleted

Once verified, your account and the personal data listed above are permanently removed, within 30 days of verification. We email you when it is done.

What to include in your request

  • Your account email addressThe address you sign in with — ideally send the request from it.
  • Your name on the accountIf your account has a name saved, include it so we can match it.
  • A clear request to delete your LakshyaPath accountSay plainly that you want the account and its personal data deleted.
  • Your registered phone number, if you have oneOptional. It helps us verify accounts created with a phone number.
Request Account Deletion

No email app? Write to pritamkunar13@gmail.com from your account’s email address.

Already signed in? You can find the same option in the app under Settings → Delete account, where the request is filled in with your account details for you.

What will be deleted

Once your request is verified, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you:

  • Account and profile information

Your name, email address, phone number and sign-in details.

  • Learning progress

Study plans, revision cards, daily-quiz streaks, rewards and topic analytics.

  • Test history

Every mock test, previous-year paper, practice session and answer sheet, with its scores and ranks.

  • Saved content and preferences

Bookmarked questions, followed exams, notification settings and theme preferences.

  • Subscription account data

Your plan, validity and any book passes on the account, where applicable.

What we may have to keep

A small amount of information is retained where the law, security or fraud prevention requires it. It is kept only for the period required, and then deleted:

  • Payment and invoice records

Tax and accounting law requires us to keep proof of a payment for a fixed period, so invoices are retained even after the account is gone.

  • Security and fraud-prevention records

A minimal record of abuse or fraud is kept where it is needed to protect other candidates.

  • Anonymised statistics

Aggregate figures such as an exam average or a question difficulty rating stay, because they no longer identify anyone.

How long it takes

We aim to verify your request within 2 working days, and to complete the deletion within 30 days of verification. You will receive an email at your account address once it is done. If you have a paid plan, deleting your account does not by itself refund it — write to us about a refund separately.

Questions?

Write to pritamkunar13@gmail.com and we will help — including if you only want part of your data removed, or a copy of it, rather than the whole account deleted.
