Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 21 August 2026
Most of our users are students paying out of their own pocket, often for the first time online. So this page is short and specific: when we refund, when we do not, and exactly how to cancel.
Every new account starts on a free 30-day Pro trial. It begins the moment you sign up — nothing to activate, no card required. The best way to avoid needing a refund is to find out whether LakshyaPath suits you before any money changes hands.
1. Cancelling a plan
You can cancel a monthly or annual plan at any time from Settings → Subscription. It takes one tap and needs no email to us.
Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not end your current access. You keep everything you paid for until the day your plan expires, and you are not charged again after that. We do not pro-rate or refund the unused part of a period you have already started — cancelling simply means it does not renew.
Day, week and 15-day Pro passes are one-time purchases. There is nothing to cancel: they expire on their own and never auto-renew.
2. When we refund
Write to pritamkunar13@gmail.com from your registered email address with the payment reference. Any of these gets a refund:
You were charged twice for the same thing
Duplicate or accidental payments are refunded in full, always, with no time limit and no questions asked.
The payment failed but the money left your account
If a payment did not give you access, it is refunded in full. Banks sometimes reverse these automatically within a few working days.
An auto-renewal you did not intend
Tell us within 7 days of the renewal charge and we will refund it and switch auto-renew off.
The plan does not work for you
Ask within 7 days of paying, if you have not already worked through a substantial part of it. We would rather refund you than keep money from someone the product did not help.
We could not deliver what you paid for
A prolonged outage, or a plan feature that does not work as described, is refunded regardless of when you tell us.
When we approve a refund it is always the full amount of that payment — we do not deduct a fee or pro-rate it. Your paid access ends at that moment, and any auto-renew mandate is cancelled with it.
3. When we do not
After 7 days, for a plan you have used
The free 30-day trial exists so you can judge the product before paying. Once you are past the window and have been practising on a paid plan, we do not refund the remaining time.
Because your exam result was not what you hoped
We sell practice and analytics, not an outcome. No amount of mock tests can guarantee a rank, and we do not promise one.
An account suspended for cheating or abuse
If we close an account for sharing logins, scraping the question bank or abusing other candidates, the remaining balance is forfeit.
None of this removes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If you think a decision of ours is unfair, say so and a person will look at it again.
4. How long a refund takes
We aim to decide within 7 days of your email. Once approved, the money is returned through Razorpay to the original payment method — the same card, UPI ID or account you paid from. We cannot send it anywhere else.
It then takes 5–7 working days to appear, depending on your bank. That last step is out of our hands; if it has been longer, send us the refund reference and we will chase it with Razorpay for you.
Asking for a refund
Email pritamkunar13@gmail.com from your registered address and include the payment or order ID (you will find it in Settings → Subscription), the amount and date, and one line on what went wrong. That is enough — we will not make you fill in a form.
