Terms of Service

1. The agreement

By creating an account or using LakshyaPath — the website at lakshyapath.com or the mobile app — you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with something here, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

One account belongs to one person. Give us details that are true, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at pritamkunar13@gmail.com if you think someone else has got into it. What happens under your account is your responsibility.

If you are under 18, use LakshyaPath with a parent or guardian’s consent. You can close your account whenever you like — see deleting your account.

3. How you may use it

Use LakshyaPath to prepare for your exams. That is the whole intent, and almost everything is allowed within it. What is not:

• Sharing your login, or letting anyone else practise on your paid plan. One person, one account.
• Copying our questions, explanations or analytics out of the product — by scraping, screen-recording in bulk, or automated download — and republishing or selling them anywhere.
• Reselling access, or running a coaching class off a single subscription.
• Interfering with the service: attacking the servers, probing for holes, or breaking the leaderboards and quiz battles for other candidates.
• Abusing, harassing or impersonating other candidates in any shared feature.
• Uploading anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else’s copyright.

Studying with a friend from one screen is fine. Running a business off one login is not. We are not looking for reasons to close accounts.

4. Our content, your content

The questions, explanations, mock tests, analytics and the software itself belong to us or to our licensors. While your account is open we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them to study. That licence does not let you copy the material out or pass it on.

Anything you write — a question report, feedback, a message to support — stays yours. You give us permission to use it to run and improve the service, which includes acting on a mistake you report.

Previous-year papers reproduce questions set by public examination bodies, and our practice material follows published syllabi. Where our material references a textbook, it references it — we do not reproduce the book. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, write to us and we will take it down while we look into it.

5. Plans and payments

Some of LakshyaPath is free. Paid plans and passes unlock the rest, at the prices shown on our pricing section at the time you buy. Every new account starts on a free 30-day Pro trial, granted automatically at sign-up — one per account.

Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until you cancel; day, week and 15-day passes are one-time and never renew.

Cancelling, and when we refund, are set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may change prices, but never for a period you have already paid for.

6. AI features

“Explain this answer” and the AI study plan are generated by a language model. They are useful and they are also sometimes wrong. Treat them as a study aid, never as an authority on the syllabus, and check anything that matters against the official notification.

AI features have usage limits that depend on your plan, and they depend on providers outside our control, so they may occasionally be unavailable.

7. What we do not promise

We work hard on the question bank, but we do not guarantee that every question, explanation, cut-off estimate or syllabus page is free of errors. Exam bodies change patterns and syllabi, sometimes at short notice, and official notifications always take precedence over anything you read here.

We do not promise you a rank, a score, or a job. Score predictions and readiness figures are statistical estimates from your own practice data, not forecasts of your result. Please make your decisions on the official notification, not on our estimate.

We aim to keep the service running at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be down, including during an exam-season rush.

8. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaks the rules in section 3, and we will tell you why. If the breach is serious — scraping the bank, reselling access, attacking the service — any remaining paid balance is forfeit. For anything less, we will ask you to stop before we take the account away.

You may close your account at any time. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you notice and refund the unused part of any plan you have paid for.

9. Liability

LakshyaPath is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses — a missed exam, a lost opportunity, or a result you are unhappy with. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the place of our registered office in India.

Before going to court, please write to us. Most things we have got wrong, we will simply fix.

11. Changes

We update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top says when they last changed, and we will tell you by email or in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use LakshyaPath after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can close your account and we will refund any unused paid period.
